Renowned Kenyan lawyer Donald B Kipkorir criticizes western Media over Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, November 9, 2021 (FBC) – Renowned Kenyan lawyer and Member at Legalink Global Network of Independent Law Firms has criticized the western media for distorted reports on Ethiopia.

“When few idlers met in Washington to announce “merger” of terrorist organizations against Ethiopia, Western MSM Washington Post, New York Times, CNN, BBC et al made it TOP NEWS. Today, millions marched in Addis Ababa in support of the Government. Western Media didn’t see it” Kipkorir said.

“At times, I don’t understand logic and narrative of CNN reports on Ethiopia” he underlined.

When writing about the current situation in Ethiopia, The New York Times always uses images showing shabby objects to derail its audience out of the reality although there are interesting portrayals of developments in Addis Ababa and other parts of the county, he said.

There are gleaming buildings for their picture of Addis Ababa. But, The New York Times is focusing on a subtle portrayal of Africa as backward and not worth stopping problems.
