Renowned Ethiopian signer Dawit Nega dies at 34

Addis Ababa, June 13, 2022 (FBC) – The renowned singer Dawit Nega who was best known for his melodious Tigrayan songs has died at age of 34.

Dawit was following a medication in Addis Ababa for a sudden illness he encountered four days ago.

“Wozamey”, “Zewidero”, “Chekolata”, “Benetselay” and “Baba’eley” were among his best songs much loved by his audience all over Ethiopia.
