Rallies against TPLF and OLF-Shene terrorist organizations continue in several parts of Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, August 20, 2021 (FBC) – Residents of several cities and towns in Oromia and Sidama Regional states have staged rallies against the terrorist organizations OLF-Shene and TPLF.

The demonstrators in Dukem town condemned atrocities being committed by the TPLF and OLF-Shene terrorist groups in several places of the country calling immediate measures to expel the criminal elements. They carried placards ready “OLF-Shene and TPLF are enemies of the Oromo People,”, “OLF-Shene is an Oromipha speaking TPLF,” among others.

A large number of people drawn from various towns, woredas and localities of the Sidama Region have also gathered in Hawassa International Stadium to denounce atrocities of the two terrorist organizations targeting civilians.

Traditional community leaders and elderly people dressed in traditional outfit have participated in the demonstration took place at the capital of Sidama Region, Hawassa.

Ambo, Assela, Holeta and Gelan also took to streets to condemn the two terrorist organizations and renew commitment for the national army.

Demonstrators reaffirmed support to the National Defense Force pledging to pay any sacrifices to bring an end to the existence of the criminal elements.
