Pushkin Center delivers humanitarian aid to landslide victims in Gofa Zone
Addis Ababa, August 7, 2024 – The Russian Center for Science and Culture in Addis Ababa, also known as the Pushkin Center, has joined forces with the Ethiopian Association of Alumni of Russian Universities to provide humanitarian aid to those affected by the devastating landslides in Gofa Zone of South Ethiopia Region in July.
The humanitarian support package includes wheat flour, edible oil, and other food items. The aid was delivered to the affected communities through the Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations of the South Ethiopia Region.
“This collaborative effort aims to provide relief to those who have been impacted by the disaster and are in need of assistance,” Deputy Head of the Pushkin Center, Dmitry Brilev said.
