Public consultations being held in 20 cities in Oromia region

Addis Ababa, February 10, 2024 (FBC) – Public consultations are being convened in 20 cities and towns spanning across the entirety of the Oromia region, to delve into the current state of affairs in the regional state and in Ethiopia, at large.

These consultations, being conducted under the overarching theme of “United National Brotherhood and Sisterhood for Sustainable Peace and Comprehensive Prosperity,” served as platforms for dialogue and engagement on current national issues.

Throughout the array of public consultations conducted across the Oromia region, governmental representatives from both federal and regional levels engaged in discussions with community members, delving into a spectrum of national concerns and topics of importance.

The public consultations serve not only to elucidate and address the fundamental needs of society but also to fortify national fraternity and unity.
