Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed praises pottery craftswomen in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, June 25, 2020 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has praised Pottery Craftswomen in Addis Ababa while visiting the “Ensera” pottery center which the city has recently inaugurated.

“Congratulations to the women at the newly inaugurated clay works center ‘Ensera’. The Premier tweeted.

Prime Minister Dr. Abiy has expressed his pleasure for seeing the fruits of labor of women who are engaged in clay works in Addis Ababa.

Addis Ababa City Administration has recently inaugurated Ensera Pottery Center which accommodates more than 1000 craftswomen at a time.

The center help the craftswomen to make, showcase and  sell their pottery products.

It is to be recalled that Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa, Takele Umma, on the inaugural ceremony the center, said the city administration is working to foster Ethiopian traditional pottery arts to the rest of the world thereby transform livelihoods of the people engaged in the sector.
