Prime Minister and First Lady present in-kind gifts to elderly, PWD upon New Ethiopian Year

Addis Ababa, September 10, 2021 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and First Lady Zinash Tayachew have presented New Year in-kind gifts to the elederly and people with disabilities in Addis Ababa up on the New Ethiopian Year.

The Premeir and the First leady appeared showed up in residential quarters where recipients are living and handed over to them the in-kind gifts including edible oil, powder, sheep that are needed for the New Year festival.

The two have wished the elderly and people with disabilities and all Ethiopians to have a happy and prosperous New Year.

“The holidays give us the opportunity to extend our giving with others. Sharing hope and good wishes with those in our amidst and afar. As we welcome the New Year, let’s include the less fortunate in our giving,” the Premier said on the occasion.
