Prime Minister Abiy inaugurates talent development school in Burayu town

Addis Ababa, October 20, 2022 (FBC) – FDRE Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed inaugurated the talent development center built in Burayu town.

It has been stated that the talent development school is a place where selected Ethiopian students with special faculty can nurture their knack without quitting their regular education.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed wrote on his social media pages, saying; “The world is highly evolved in technology than it has ever been. To reap the economic and other benefits of technology, it is imperative that Ethiopia produces professionals with advanced knowledge in the field.”

“We need more talent development centers like Burayu Talent Development School so that talented young people can help their country become technologically competent while developing their skills and pursuing their passion”, he added.

PM Abiy commended local residents for their contribution in various ways from the beginning to the end of the school’s development.

Currently, Ethiopia is endowed with youngsters with special talents in different levels of schools and universities.

Whenever these talented people think of nurturing their talents and turning it into fruition, they used to realize that they need to complete their education, or they end up being wasted.

This talent development school is expected to play a part in solving this constraint.

It has been pointed out that the building has a dormitory, dining hall, administrative building, medical center, classrooms, laboratory, and workshops.
