Prime Minister Abiy discusses with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva

Addis Ababa, June 22, 2023 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed met and had a productive discussion with the the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva on the side line of the Paris Summit for a New Global Financing Pact.

During his meeting with the IMF chief, the Prime Minister appreciated the Fund’s continued engagement and support, including its scaled up efforts in responding to climate challenge.

Recall that Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is participating on the Summit for a New Global Financing Pact, being held in Paris, France, from June 22 to 23, 2023. He also participated on the Summit’s roundtable.
