Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed extends Christmas greetings

Addis Ababa, January 6, 2020 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has extended best wishes to adherents over the celebration of Ethiopian Christmas Holiday (Genna).

“We mark this year’s Christmas in remembrance of the hardships we have overcome and in the light of our anticipated decisive victory over circumstances”, the Prime Minister said.

“Ethiopia is now amidst tribulation and victory as the world did while marking the first Christmas. The world was bracing for salvation, light, peace, freedom and love when celebrated the first Christmas. The same is true for Ethiopia which is set to enjoy its better future.” Prime Minister Abiy said.

Ethiopia has been faced with various hardships for it is scenting hope, peace and prosperity, said the premier wishing a happy Christmas to the people.
