Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed casts vote in Beshasha town
Addis Ababa, June 21, 2021 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has casted his ballot in Beshasha, his birth town in Jimma Zone, Oromia Region.
The Prime Minister said that the election is going well across the nation. He commended the role of the media in the election process and expressed gratitude to the contending political party leaders especially who were abroad for responding to the government’s call and taking part the historic poll.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s elder and younger brothers have casted their votes in Beshasha, Jimma zone. Tofik Ahemd, who is 28 years old, says he is voting for a party that could realize peace and prosperity in the country. Tofik expresses his confidence that peace and development to prevail after the election.
Premier’s other brother Zakir Ahemd, who is a farmer, also expressed his believe that the election brings big hope and prosperity.
