President Xi Jinping sends condolences over landslides in Gofa Zone

Addis Ababa, July 27, 2024 (FBC) – Chinese President XI Jinping has sent message of condolence to the people and Government of Ethiopia on the tragic landslides occurred in Gofa Zone of South Ethiopia Regional State.

The President expressed his deep condolences to the victims of the tragic accident, wishing quick recovery to the affected people in the area.

According to Chief Administrator of Gofa Zone, Tilahun Kebede, deaths caused by the landslides have reached 232.
