President Sahle-Work Zewde urges African countries to capacitate women for leadership

Addis Ababa, March 1, 2022 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde has attended the pre-CSW-66 African Ministerial consultation meeting.

On the occasion, She emphasized the need for African women to speak with one voice for the rights of women and girls.

The President urged African countries to train and build capacities of women in order for them to reach middle and high leadership positions.

The President said women can make a difference in leadership. She also called for more solidarity in overcoming their multiple challenges.
