President Sahle-Work Zewde receives President of WADA Witold Bonka

Addis Ababa, March 29, 2023(FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde received the President of World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Witold Bonka and his delegation at her office.

The two have exchanged view on how Ethiopia and the World Anti-Doping Agency can work closely in anti-doping control and investigation; and how the organization can provide technical support.

President Sahle-Work Zewde mentioned on the meeting that Ethiopia has a long history in athletics and known in the world since athlete Abebe Biqila won world marathon in Rome.

Finally, the President thanked the organization for its technical support in the area of anti-doping control.
