President Sahle-Work Zewde congratulates all Muslims on Eid al-Fitr

Addis Ababa, May 2, 2022 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde has issued Eid al-Fitr Greetings wishing all Muslims in Ethiopia and around the world a happy Holiday.

The President called up on members of the Muslim community to pray for internal peace to the departed ones, give alms to those who are in need, support the orphans and others suffering from cost of living while celebrating the Eid al Fitr.

She also called on the Muslims to reinstate those fled their homes due to conflict  and drought while celebrating the day.

President Sahle-Work Zewde delivered food items to low income members of the Muslim Community in Addis Ababa on Saturday in connection with the Eid al-Fitr Holiday.
