President Sahle-Work stresses support for children with down syndrome

Addis Ababa, March 24, 2024 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde stressed the need to invest in children with down syndrome.

President Sahle-Work attended an event which has been organized by the Deborah Foundation at the Friendship Park to mark World Down Syndrome Day.

In her remarks at the event, President Sahle-Work stressed the need to provide all the support and care for children with down syndrome to help them achieve their dreams and contribute to nation’s development.

“Children with down syndrome can be the hope of the nation’s future if they get our assistance and the opportunity,” the President underscored.
