President Sahle-Work receives Israeli Immigration Minister

Addis Ababa, December 3, 2020 (FBC) –Ethiopia’s President, Sahle-Work Zewde, received Pnina Tamano-Shata, Israeli Immigration Minister.

Tamano-Shata, who is the first Ethiopia-born person to hold the position, expressed her delight in visiting Ethiopia.

Tamano-Shata further she was working hard to strengthen the long-standing relations between the two countries.

Similarly, Minister of Culture and Tourism, Dr Hirut Kassaw held discussion with the Israeli Immigration Minister.

The two expressed their desire to cooperate in tourism.

The Israeli Minister arrived in Addis Ababa last Sunday for a working visit. She is the first Ethiopian-born woman to hold a Knesset seat.
