President Sahle-Work presents letter of credence to newly appointed ambassadors

Addis Ababa, January 17, 2023 (FBC) – The FDRE President Sahle-Work Zewde hands letters of credence to the recently appointed 14 ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary and 7 other ambassadors of Ethiopia.

The letters of credence accord ceremony was held in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Demeke Mekonnen, and senior officials of MFA Ethiopia.

The President mentioned that it is a great opportunity and honour to serve Ethiopia both at home and abroad.

She added that the appointed ambassadors should work based on the principle of trust and persuasion, according to EBC’s report.
