President Sahle-Work congratulates US Vice President Kamala Harris

Addis Ababa, January 20, 2021 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde has congratulated Kamala Harris, the first female Vice President of the United States (US).

Kamala Harris is also the first Afro American and of South Asian descent.

“I have no doubt she will inspire many young girls and women in and beyond the US,” President Sahle-Work tweeted

“A door has opened: they can dream big!,” she added.
