President of AIIB visits Ethiopian Airlines’ state-of-the-art facilities

Addis Ababa, November 30, 2024 (FBC) — President and Chairman of Board of Directors of the Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), Mr. Jin Liqun and his delegation engaged in a discussion today with Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mr. Mesfin Tasew and the airline’s executive management.

The president and his delegation have also visited Ethiopian Airlines’ state-of-the-art facilities which showcase the airline’s commitment to innovation and excellence in aviation.

Ethiopian Airlines, in a statement published on its social media page today, expressed its delight with the visit of the AIIB President Jin Liqun and his esteemed delegation.

“The fruitful discussions and their visit to our facilities mark a significant milestone in strengthening our mutual cooperation. We greatly value the opportunity to share our vision and explore avenues for collaboration that contribute to our shared goals,” the Airline stated.

It is worth noting that during his stay in Addis Ababa this week, the AIIB had also met and held discussions with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed as well as ministers of finance, water & energy, and foreign affairs.
