President Celebrates Maulid Paying a Visit to Charity

Addis Ababa, October 18, 2021 (FBC) – President Sahle Work Zewdie marks the Birthday of the Prophet Mohammed by paying a visit to a charity called “Wondim Kalid Foundation” here in Addis Ababa.

The foundation is said to rehabilitate and integrate street people into the community by providing them with various vocational trainings, currently training 100 of a kind.

The President, thus, accompanied by Addis Ababa Lady Mayor Adanech Abebe, has donated food items to the needy.

According to ENA, since its establishment a year ago, Wondim Khalid Foundation has given various vocational trainings to over one thousand youngsters so they become productive part of the community.
