President addresses High Level Policy Dialogue on Gender Based Violence in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, November 25, 2021 (FBC) – President Sahele-Wrok Zewde has delivered an opening remark at a High Level policy Dialogue on Gender Based violence in Ethiopia that involved participation of women leaders and representatives of various international organizations.

Addressing the High Level Dialogue held in line with International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the President called on concerted participatory actions to ensure rights of women.

Protection of rights of Women must of a routine job of the government and all concerned stakeholders.

President of the Supreme Court, Meaza Ashenafi, Women and Social Affairs Minisyer Ergoge Tesfaye (PhD), among other senior level women officials, have attended the dialogue.
