Premier visits mega projects underway in Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa, June 21, 2021 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has today visited various mega projects underway in Addis Ababa.
The Prime Minister reviewed the progress of a bread factory being constructed through the First Lady’s Office and through the generous support of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
“With a 1 million per day output capacity when fully operational, the goal is to have up to 10 bread factories in each major city through government initiative and private sector support”, said the premier regarding the bread factory.
Premier further inspected the 3.8km Pushkin-Gotera road project built at a cost of 1.5 Billion Birr. The road project that has reached 70pct completion will tremendously ease traffic congestion once completed, the premier said. The Prime Minister planted tree seedlings in project sites.
