Premier convenes a meeting with political party representatives

Addis Ababa, July 22, 2024 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) has held a meeting with political party representatives this morning to discuss cooperation on national issues.

This meeting was a continuation of an earlier gathering in April, where a direction was set for discussions to continue at various levels.

In a statement posted on his social media pages following the meeting with heads and representatives of different political parties, he mentioned that earlier in April, he had met with political party representatives to discuss cooperation on national issues. “Earlier in April, I met with political party representatives to discuss cooperation on national issues. A direction was set for discussions to continue at various levels,” he noted.

According to the premier, the purpose of this meeting was to build upon the previous discussions and work towards reaching a consensus on national issues of significance to all. “Today, we met again as a continuation of the April meeting, working toward forging a consensus on national issues of importance for all.”
