Premier commissions the newly renovated CMC route in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, August 11, 2024 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed today launched the newly renovated Megenagna-CMC route in Addis Ababa city which was undertaken under the city’s ongoing corridor development project.

In a social media post published this evening, the Prime Minister asserted that the corridor development works in the Ethiopian capital has progressed significantly thanks to concerted efforts by various stakeholders.

“Our corridor development work, conducted in collaboration with residents and the city leadership, has progressed significantly. Today, we are pleased to announce that the CMC route is now open to the public, he noted.

PM Abiy further stated that this expansion reflects his government’s “commitment to a broader perspective as we continue to advance our initiatives.”

The inaugural ceremony was attended by various senior government officials and local residents.
