Premier Abiy to attend HoPR’s regular session on tomorrow

Addis Ababa, October 30, 2024 (FBC) – The FDRE House of People’s Representatives (HoPR) will convene for its third regular session of the current Ethiopian fiscal year tomorrow morning, with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in attendance.

During the session, Prime Minister Abiy will address potential queries anticipated to be forwarded by parliamentarians, which are based on President Taye Atske-Selassie’s presentation at the joint opening session of the HoPR and House of Federation earlier this month. It is worth recalling that the President’s presentation outlined the federal government’s plans and priorities for the 2024/25 fiscal year.

Ambassadors of various countries and representatives of international organizations based in Addis Ababa, religious leaders, senior government officials and other invited guests will attend the meeting, HoPR indicated.
