Preliminary discussions held ahead of the 10th Tana Security Forum
Addis Ababa, October 14, 2022 (FBC) – Preliminary discussions of the 10th Tana Security and Peace Forum held in Bahir Dar City in attendance of community activists, scholars and former leaders of African countries.
The preliminary discussions focused at the history and contributions of the former freedom fighter and President of Zambia Kenneth Kaunda, among other issues.
Professor Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba, Pan Africanist Scholar and member of the Tana Forum Management Board delivered an opening remarks at the Pre-Forum activities held under “Managing Security Threats: Building Resilence for the Africa We Want”.
The 10 Tana Forum will officially start tomorrow in attendance of more than 300 partcicpants from several countries of Africa.
