PP Central Committee members proclaim steadfastness towards implementation of peace agreement

Addis Ababa, December 8, 2022 (FBC) – Members of the ruling Prosperity Party (PP) proclaimed that efforts are being exerted with determination for effective implementation of the peace agreement reached between the federal government and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF).

They said that terrorist Shene group has been carrying out various attacks against innocent people from time to time so that the government will be forced to take law enforcement measures for the group has not reciprocated the peaceful options put in place to address the situation.

The ordinary session of the Central Committee of the Prosperity Party which held for the last four days was completed on Wednesday.

During the closing session, the members of the Central Committee said that the peace agreement reached with the TPLF attested to the victory of Ethiopia, stressing need to strengthen efforts for full implementation of the accord.

They stated that the peace agreement is crucial to the nation building process, pledging to play their part in making the implementation successful.
