Political Parties Pledge To Contributes Share To Bring Peace At Universities

Addis Ababa, December 17, 2019 (FBC) –Political parties operating in Oromia and Amhara regional states have concluded their two-day consultative forum.

The forum was called to discuss on conflicts at universities located in both regional states and come up with recommendations.

It was also intended to strengthen relations between peoples of the two regional states as well as bring national consensus.

At the end of the forum, the parties pledged to contribute their share in addressing the root cause of conflicts and bring peace at universities.

They also called for conflict instigators to be held accountable.

The participants further urged the government to strengthen measure to protect the security of students.
