Police, FMHACA seize over 2m birr worth fake masks

Addis Ababa, May 2, 2020 (FBC) –The Food, Medicine and Health Care Administration and Control Authority in partnership with the Addis Ababa Police Commission, seized 2.4 million birr worth of fake masks and unauthorized erectile dysfunction drugs.

Among the illegal protective and medical supplies intercepted yesterday include 15,000 masks, 5 infrared thermometers and 1,000 surgical masks.

The individuals have been arrested and taken into police custody.
