PMO’s Addis Weg forum deliberating on “Peace and Security During Elections”

Addis Ababa, March 30, 2021 (FBC) – Addis Wog, a monthly forum under the auspices of the Office of the Prime Minister, is deliberating on current situation under a theme “Peace and Security During Elections”.

The first part is taking place now focusing on the characteristics and criteria of peaceful elections.

The second session to be held in the afternoon today will focus on the role of indigenous and modern institutions in promoting peace during an electoral period.

The final session will be staged by tomorrow aiming at preventing the negative effects of disinformation towards enabling peaceful elections.

Head of Ahadu TV and Radio, Tibebu Belete is moderating the session while Founder of ET Civil Discourses, Hiwot Alemayehu,  and a legal expert, Dr. Mesenbet Asefa are participating in the forum as discussants.
