PM urges Muslims to intensify fight against COVID 19 during Ramadan

Addis Ababa, April 23, 2020 (FBC) – Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed has delivered his happy Ramadan wishes to all Muslims.

In his message, the Prime Minister said Ramadan is a holy month as it concurs with fasting, prayers and spirituality.

He noted billions of Muslims around the globe spend the month of Ramadan with fasting, prayers and kindness.

He called upon Muslims to ask Allah to save the world from the coronavirus pandemic.

He said “I am absolutely hopeful that Muslim youth will cooperate with health professionals in screening individuals who may contracted the virus in any case”

The Prime Minister further urged the Muslim community to join hands with followers of other religions in the fight against the COVID 19 pandemic during the holy month of Ramadan.
