PM Modi meets German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin
Addis Ababa, May 2, 2022 (FBC) – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is travelling to Germany, Denmark and France from May 2 to 4.
While PM Modi embarks on a three-nation tour, including France, Germany and Denmark, he is expected to address the Indian Diaspora in Berlin as well as Copenhagen.
As a milestone event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin where the two discussed bilateral and international issues.
During the discussion PM Modi said: “No one will be victorious in this war. We are for peace. Due to turmoil in Ukraine war, commodity prices have increased. This will impact developing countries,”
Chancellor Olaf Scholz, for his part, said that India is among German’s very important partners. “The world can only develop well if we are clear as to the fact that future relations in the world will be characterised and marked by many countries, not by a few powerful countries,” he added.
