PM holds consultation with representatives of community members in SNNP state

Addis Ababa, January 23, 2020 (FBC) –Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed held today consultation with community members drawn from SNNP regional state.

More than 2,000 representatives of the community, including academics, traditional elders, religious fathers and youth, attended the discussion took place in the office of the Prime Minister.

During the discussion, the participants raised questions related to peace, infrastructure (road, health and education facilities), good governance and autonomous regional state.

The Prime Minister pledged that “we will work to find solution for the problems.”

He said a joint committee will be formed to find sustainable solutions for problems of infrastructure and good governance.

As far as question for autonomous regional state is concerned, the Prime Minister stated that “it requires more time and will get answer through time.”
