PM Hamza Abdi Barre returns to Somalia concluding his visit to Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, October 20, 2022 (FBC) – Prime Minister of the Republic of Somalia Hamza Abdi Barre returned to Mogadishu after concluding his visit to Ethiopia.
Prime Minister Hamza was visiting development activities and engaging discussions with regional and federal officials for almost a week since he arrived on Friday last week to attend the 10th Tana Forum on Security in Africa.
He visited infrastructural projects in Bahir Dar and Jigjiga cities and held discussions with Yilkal Kefale and Mustafa Omer, Chief Administrators of the Amhara and Somali Regional states respectively.
He met elders and traditional leaders in Somali region where he exchanged views of regional dignateries and public representatives on how to cement tis between peoples of the two countries.
Hamza Abdi Barre also toured the Science Museum in the capital Addis Ababa. Officials have seen off the Somali Prime Minister upon his departure to his country.
