PM calls for durable devotion, solidarity against national problems

Addis Ababa, May 06, 2020 (FBC) –Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed yesterday announced the conclusion of the month-long prayer services which was declared by the Inter – Religious Council of Ethiopia.

“We have to maintain the devotion and solidarity demonstrated during the month-long prayer services to eliminate problems of the country in a sustainable manner” the premier stressed.

He said the conclusion of the prayers line up came at a time when Ethiopians are marking the 79th patriots’ Victory Day adding the season shows how Ethiopia is enriched with deep spiritual values.

The solidarity and dedication shown by the believers during the concluded one month prayers line-up could be an ultimate force that can sustainably eliminate the challenges that the country is facing now.

The premier extended his gratitude to media organizations that had a live transmission of the prayers through their broadcast channels.
