PM accepts open call from arts community to honor ENDF with 2min activity

Addis Ababa, November 14, 2020 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has announced acceptance of open call from member of the arts community to participate in 2min activity aims to honor the National Defense Forces.

According to the Prime Minister, the 2min activity will be held at 11: 20am on November 17, 2020 under the theme “I stand for the honor of National Defense Forces.”

At that time, all Ethiopians will stand holding their right hand over their heart for a minute and show their respect for the defense forces, the premier said.

“At the end of the one-minute salute, we will applaud the bravery of our forces for another one minute.” Prime Minister Abiy stated.

Prime Minister Abiy urged all to take part and make the event a success in respective communities, workplaces and homes.

An artistic taskforce has been established under the title “Art for Honor of Nation” and gone operational in the country.
