PM Abiy visits Defense Engineering Industry Corporation

Addis Ababa, May 17, 2024 (FBC) – The gains we have made in the agricultural sector are now being replicated in the industrial sector, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said after visiting Ethiopian Defense Engineering Industry Corporation.

Following structural reforms and leadership changes at the Defense Engineering Industry Corporation, they are undertaking remarkable work using reverse engineering to develop strategic weapons, rockets, and tanks, he emphasized.
