PM Abiy says crop production in Somali region promising

Addis Ababa, October 15, 2021 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said that this year’s crop production in the Somali region is very promising.

“Our focus throughout the country will continue to be on food security and on strengthening our capacity for self reliance” the Prime Minister noted.

Prime Minister Abiy visited wheat production farmlands in various parts of Oromia where he stressed the need for effective utilization of agricultural potentials to ensure food self-sufficiency.
