PM Abiy reviews progress of Addis Ababa corridor dev’t projects
Addis Ababa, April 30, 2024 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed met today with the leadership of the Addis Ababa city administration to assess the ongoing advancement of corridor development projects in the capital.
A month ago, the Prime Minister had overseen a thorough evaluation of the progress of these projects.
“This morning, I reconvened with the leadership of the Addis Ababa City Government and corridor leads to further explore our progress,” the Premier stated in a social media post.
He stressed that these initiatives encompass more than just construction; they aim to metamorphose the capital city into a more habitable, dynamic, and sustainable environment. “These initiatives are not just about construction; they are about transforming the capital city into a more livable, vibrant, and sustainable environment.”
“By enhancing the aesthetics, greenery, and infrastructure, we are not only addressing public health concerns but also generating employment opportunities for our residents. Together, these efforts will elevate Addis Ababa and truly establish it as a city that caters to the needs of all its inhabitants,” PM Abiy underscored.
