PM Abiy invites US investment community to explore untapped investment opportunities in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, December 16, 2022 (FBC) – The FDRE Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, held terrific discussion with the US investment community about the untapped investment opportunities in Ethiopia.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held terrific conversations with members of the US investment community in Washington, DC.

In his post on Twitter, the Premier confirmed that he and the representatives of the US investment community discussed regarding the untapped investment opportunities in Ethiopia and the government’s historic economic reforms and openings.

During his meeting with the US investment community, PM Abiy encouraged them to step up efforts to invest in the people and economy of Ethiopia for shared prosperity.

So far, the Prime Minister has held several discussions with different US senior government officials, members of the Ethiopian Diaspora community in the USA, and leaders of international organizations on the sidelines on the US-Africa Leaders’ 2022 Summit.
