PM Abiy commends those who assiduously engage in soil, water conservation works

Addis Ababa, January 27, 2021 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has commended farmers and other members of the community who have been assiduously engaged in soil and water conservation works across the nation.

“I commend our tireless heroes of the field that toil the lands to feed us.” the Premier said.

The Prime Minister said the farmers have continued committed engagement to Ethiopia’s agricultural and Green Legacy goals, adding that the effort is imperative in ensuring food self sufficiency.

Ethiopia plans to plant 6 million more trees during the coming rainy season as part of the national Green Legacy Initiative.
