PM Abiy Ahmed welcomes Kenyan President William Ruto
Addis Ababa, Noveber 6, 2024 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) has welcomed the President of Kenya William Ruto this evening.
A social media post by the Prime Minister shows the Ethiopian Premier welcoming the Kenyan President at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
President Ruto arrived in Ethiopia to attend the World Without Hunger Conference which is being held in the Ethiopian capital since yesterday.
The World Without Hunger Conference, which kicked off Yesterday at the Adwa Victory Memorial Museum in Addis Ababa in the presence of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD), UNIDO Director–General Gerd Muller, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, African Union Commission Chairperson, and other high-level stakeholders including Heads of State/Government, Ministers, UN agencies, the private sector, financial institutions, donor community, DFI/IFI, civil society, non-governmental organizations, academia, and media.
Other heads of state and government are also in Addis Ababa for this global Conference.
The three-day World Without Hunger Conference is organised by the UNIDO – United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the Government of Ethiopia and the African Union (AU) with technical assistance of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
