PM Abiy Ahmed warns parties attempting to instigate conflict between Ethiopia, Sudan

Addis Ababa, April 20, 2023 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has warned parties attempting to instigate conflict between Ethiopia and Sudan.

In a statement he issued today, the premier stated that there are opportunists seeking political gain from false allegations they are peddling to cause among peoples of Sudan and Ethiopia he says going through tribulations.

“These parties with their ill motives are claiming that Ethiopia is moblizing its troops along the borders of Sudan.” he said.

“Ethiopia strongly condemns this false allegation intended to cause conflict between the brotherly peoples of Sudan and Ehtiopia.” the Premier underscored.

The Prime Minister further expressed his confidence that Ethiopia and Sudan are able to solve their border dispute through peaceful dialoge.
