PM Abiy Ahmed sends best wishes to all Muslims on Eid al-Fitr

Addis Ababa, April 20, 2023 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has sent his best wishes to all muslims on the 444th Eid al-Fitr to be celebrated on Friday worldwide.

The Prime Minister urged the faithful to treasure peace, unity and brotherhood whille celebrating the Eid al Fitr holiday.

“Standing together is not only useful for prayer. It is necessary to to overcome the challenges we face as a country.” The Prime Minister noted.

The teachings of Islam underline that the holy month of Ramadan is the period where mulims pray to God and for peace and blessings and get the rewards in return, he underscored.

“It is peace, kindness and blessings that sustain our nation,” the Prime Minister said, calling on the Muslim community to give alms to the needy and keep open hearted during the holiday.
