PM Abiy Ahmed says national army takes control of Kasagita

Addis Ababa, November 26, 2021 (FBC) – Prime Minster and Commander-in-Chief of the army Abiy Ahmed who is now leading the Ethiopian National Defense Forces from the frontline announced that the army has successfully taken control of Asagita in Afar Region.

The Premier underlined that the army is fighting against the terrorist group TPLF forces with strong determination and gallantry.

Saying that the terrorist TPLF forces are retreating from the areas they had invaded so far, the Prime Minister indicated that the enemy is not in a position to contest the national army.

“We won’t give in until we bury the enemy. All Ethiopians at home and abroad have shown their solidarity to us. Similar victories will continue. We are in a better position to claim full victory soon and pass on a free and prosperous Ethiopia to coming generations.” The Premier underscored.

“What we want to see is an Ethiopia that stands on our sacrifices-either to be Ethiopian or to be Ethiopia.” he added.

Prime Minister Abiy added that the army is now heading victoriously forward to control Burka and Chifra soon.
