PM Abiy Ahmed meets with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva

Addis Ababa, February 17, 2022 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has met with Managing Director of IMF, Kristalina Georgieva ahead of the AU-EU Summit which will be taking place in Brussels, Belgium from February 17-18, 2022.

“The two discussed on ways of strengthening partnership with IMF as Ethiopia resumes the reforms she fought hard to maintain despite adversities,”, according to the Premier.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed along with his delegation talked with Slovenian counterpart Janez Jansa about bolstering Ethiopia and Slovenia’s long-standing relationship, as well as technical and economic cooperation earlier today.
