PM Abiy Ahmed lauds successful irrigation practices in Shebele Zone, Somali Region

Addis Ababa, February 12, 2024 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) along with high level regional and federal officials toured the land being irrigated in the Berano district of the Shebele zone in the Somali region utilizing the Wabi Shebele river.

The Prime Minister has lauded successful irrigation practices as exemplary in the ongoing efforts to transform the agriculture sector.

“This thriving environment is a testament to the success of our efforts to rejuvenate the agricultural sector,” the Prime Minister noted.
