PM Abiy Ahmed hosts New Year luncheon feast for needy residents

Addis Ababa, September 11, 2020 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and the First Lady have hosted an Ethiopian New Year special luncheon feast for needy segments of the society at Newly inaugurated Friendship Park.

The Premier has shared Meal for more than 500 vulnerable segment of the community upon the New Ethiopian New Year.

Elders, homeless children and people living with disabilities are among the disadvantaged group members who have been invited New Year lunch by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and the First Lady Zinash Tayachew.

Higher government officials including the Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa Adanech Abiebie and Labor and Social Affairs Minister Dr. Tesfaye Ergogie have attended the luncheon feast.

“I am delighted to have lunch with the elderly, persons with disabilities and homeless children and youth of our city. In 2013, I call on all Ethiopians to care for the most vulnerable sections of our societies.”, the Premier tweeted.
