PM Abiy Ahmed holds bilateral meeting with Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz 

Addis Ababa, November 19, 2023 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) held a constructive bilateral meeting with Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin to further strengthen the political and economic ties between Ethiopia and Germany.

The two leaders agreed to expand cooperation in clean energy, FDI, fertilizer production, and regional security issues. 

Ethiopia and Germany enjoy close cooperation on matters of climate change, energy, education, regional peace and security.
